Edie Ames has been in the restaurant industry for more than 24 years and joined Morton’s The Steakhouse as President in July 2005.

Ames previously served as the Vice President of Operations & Training for the California Pizza Kitchen for 12 years. Her focus and passion has been Operations and Training/Development throughout her career.

Edie grew up in the restaurant business and firmly believes – “a restaurant concept should evolve as guests’ desires and expectations evolve yet true hospitality is as simple as consistent demonstration of genuine interest in the guest and flawless execution of their expectations.” She also works to ensure that every one of her employees understands and executes this same concept.

As President, Ames is responsible for the day-to-day operations of 76 Morton’s restaurants and TREVI, the company’s high-end Italian restaurants located in Las Vegas. Ames oversees a worldwide staff of more than 4,500 employees.

Ames knows what it takes to lead a company towards success and sustain it. She believes that the key to success is in the selection of the right people and the dedicated investment in the ongoing development of each employee, in every level of the organization.

During her free time, Edie enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and spending time with her family.
Ames resides in Chicago with her husband and two dogs.
