Ten Strategic Points

Research Topic

In all the research studies, different parameters and attributes are involved related to organization, human behavior, social and business environment, government and so on. The proposed research topic of this study is “To critically Evaluate different factors talk into the completion of the Divinity of the GED in a Federal Correction setting: A case study analysis of east side East Manning high school key child dropped out of school” (Babbie, 2013).

Broad Topic Area

In the field of education, General Education Development (GED) test is important to certify, America or Canadian High school academic skills. The role of leader to improve the skills and capabilities of students to perform exceptionally well in the GED test is crucial. There are several external environmental factors such as social and economic, political and technological, which eventually affect the ability of the students to perform in the society. Literature Review

The research topic of the study is “To critically Evaluate different factors influencing the completion of the God of the GED In a Federal Correction setting: A case study analysis of east side East Manning high school key child dropped out of school”. As this research is based on the discussion about the different factors, which affects the GED level and student’s abilities to function in the social environment, different theoretical framework and model will be assessed by the researcher to analyze the effectiveness of GED programs.

In this regard, the GED program and its development in the school setting will be discussed. Further, the external environmental evaluation model for PEST analysis in the school setting will be adopted for the evaluation of different factors that are associated with the origin and development of GED. The researcher will give answer the research questions that:

1.What is the impact of the GED on the student’s ability to function in the social environment in the East Texas area?

2.What are factors associated with the effective completion of GED?

Educational economic development due to GED program comprises improvement in educational development and high rate of employment, which eventually improves the abilities of the student in the social environment.

Implications for Further Study:

The implications for the further studies are associated with the adoption of multi case study methods and emphasize on more than one school setting to analyze the impact of the GED on the student’s abilities. This will help the researcher to elaborate the idea of GED program and its needs and requirements in the social world, along with the school education programs (Akers, 2013; Theresa, 2011).

Conclusion:

Evaluation of all the GED programs, assist the researcher to concluded the answers of the question that the tests conducted under GED are beneficial for the students to improve their skills and abilities and grab opportunities in the competitive industrial environment.

Problem Statement

In all the studies, creating a problem statement is essential to provide a compressive view to the reader that on what topic the study will focus. The main purpose of organizing this study is to analyze the different environmental determinants such as social, economic, political and technological, which have direct and indirect impact in the completion of GED program. In the East Texas area, the impact of GED program on the development of the society is not known. The GED is a course for the students after dropout from the school (Tyler, Murnane & Wille, 2004). Diffusion of different factors can be identified in this study so that the impact of GED in east Texas can be evaluated.

The problem statement for this study is “it is not known that how the GED program influences the development of east Texas area and helps the society and community JOD wise.” This statement is also beneficial to fulfill the gap in the available literature review to identify the different factors that affects the rate of child dropout and effectiveness of GED east side East Manning high school for the growth and development of child as well as the community.

Research Questions

In order to define the problem statement and collect all the relevant data and information, the researcher will focus on three main research questions related to GED. All these research questions will also support the researcher to focus on a specific research area. The three main questions that will be answered in the study are as follows:

1.How does a GED program help a person be well-adjusted in their community?

2.How is a GED beneficial on a personal basis?

3.What is the role and significance of GED to social functioning and student’s behavior in the external environment?

All these research questions will also assist the researcher to analyze the GED program and its benefits for the community people and students as well as to explore the area that how the GED offer different benefits to the students and communities.

Sample

For attaining the objective of the study and resolving the problem statement, the research will choose specific sample according to the nature of the study. In order to know the impact of the GED program in east Texas, the researcher would work for the evaluation of the east Texas GED program. The selected sample size will consists of 25 males and females ranging in age from 15 to 72. In Brownsboro, TX, the number of drop child is 25; in Chandler, TX the number of drop child 100 and in Athens, TX the number of drop child is 15. These participants will be approached from these schools of Texas area.

Hypothesis, Variables and Phenomenon

According to the problem statement of the study, the impact of different factors on the performance of GED programs and its role in the East Texas area for the development of the society, the main variables are life transformations, such as social, mental and physical impact, social development such as employment and education and educational opportunities (Akers, 2013; Theresa, 2011).

The hypothesis for this study will be

Ha: There is a significant impact in the social and environmental factors on the performances of the GED program in the East Texas Area, which affects the performances of society and community.

H0: There is not a significant impact in the social and environmental factors on the performances of the GED program in the East Texas Area, which affects the performances of society and community.

Both of these hypotheses are useful to organize a qualitative study and different variables are beneficial to understand the qualitative perspective of the study.

Research Methodology and Design:

For addressing the research problem and resolving the issues carefully, the researcher will adopt both qualitative and quantitative research methods and follow a mixed research methodology in this study. The qualitative perspective of the study will help research to gather information related to different environmental factors such as life transformation, social and education, etc., which impacts the GED program. At the same time, through quantitative study, the researcher will analyze the perceptions of the children and reasoning of the school dropout. The qualitative data will be gathered through case study analysis, whereas the quantitative data will be gathered through survey through the questionnaire process (Babbie, 2013).

Purpose Statement:

All the research studies and dissertations have some purposes for organizing, which is attained by the researcher in the complete study through design and methodology of research. In this study, the researcher adopts a mixed method research methodology, so the purpose statement of the study is defined by considering both qualitative and quantitative perspectives (Gewertz, 2011). The quantitative purpose of this study is to conduct a survey analysis with 25 males and females ranging in age from 15 to 72 in Brownsboro, TX, Chandler, TX and Athens, TX, in the east Texas area, so that the researcher can explore the impact of GED programs in the East Texas area and to present the findings, which might show the effectiveness of GED programs to integrate training and development in the community are developed a qualitative case study.

In simple word, this mixed research methodology is helpful to fulfill the both qualitative and quantitative purposes of analyzing the impact of GED programs and its effectiveness on the growth of the students in the East Texas Area and to explore different factors, which affects the student’s ability to perform in the social environment (Gewertz, 2011). The educational growth of the community also depends on the training and development program to influence their perceptions about the studies, school curriculum and different educational programs. So, this program also emphasizes the ways through which the GED program and its effectiveness can be integrated in the training and development programs for the community and its educational development process.

In this study, the research follows a qualitative methodology to explore the impact of GED programs in the East Texas area. The main focus of the research is to conclude that how GED programs can ingrate in the training and development programs for sustainable growth of the community. Therefore, the primary research approach followed by the researcher is the interview for collecting primary data and responses of the participants (Akers, 2013; Theresa, 2011). The interview will take place with the community people so that the researcher could understand their perception about the need of GED program and how this program will be beneficial for them (Babbie, 2013).

Data Collection Approach

In the interview process, the researcher will focus on the evaluation of the perception of men and women about the GED program for individual and children’s development. In the interview, the researcher will ask different questions to the participants and provide them opportunities to discuss their detailed perception about the GED programs and its benefits (Babbie, 2013). The interview process will emphasize on perception of different genders to enhance the importance of the GED program. Through this analysis, the researcher will look for different ways to integrate GED in the training and development programs for the community people (Akers, 2013; Theresa, 2011).
