Both FollettShelf and AXIS360 are two new eBook platforms, that are setup to house all of our digital fiction and nonfiction eBooks. They are both searchable and will allow books (purchased by the school) to be checked-out and downloaded into their respective e-readers.
The FollettShelf has a built-in e-reader, so only one account needs to be created. Once a book is checked out, the e-reader becomes automatically accessible. The FollettShelf is integrated with the MTHS catalog and so the user can go to either FollettShelf or to Destiny to check out a book.
In AXIS360, a separate e-reader called BLIO, is used. Both AXIS360 and BLIO require separate accounts. First the AXIS360 account needs to be setup in order to checkout books. Once a book is checked out in AXIS360, the BLIO e-reader login page is automatically accessed. After the user logs into BLIO , the book will download into the BLIO e-reader.
All three accounts MUST use the students School username AND their School Network ID # for their passwords. The AXIS360 account must also use the prefix “mths” as part of their username.

7) Log into Destiny; Log into the FollettShelf; Log into AXIS360; Log into Ebscohost.

BLIO

At this point, the User would click on the “Create new Blio account,” which would bring up the second screen that is shown below. Here the user enters all of the same information that was used in AXIS360, including the user’s school email address (). After all the information is processed the eBook will download and a Checkout Confirmation will be sent. At this point the user can open their BLIO app and read the eBook.
