THE REFEREE SCHOOL
for Officials OF women’s basketball
Operated in conjunction with the Lowell Panthers AAU tournament
Host Hotel: LaQuinta Inn and Suites, Andover, Mass
On court sessions primarily held at the Rockingham Athletic Club and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell
Session I: March 30-April 1, 2012
Session I will be used as the New England tryout for applicants to the ECAC Women’s Officiating Bureau. CCA Women’s 3-person instruction will be provided to prepare interested candidates for 2011-2012 collegiate assignments.
Session II: March 31–April 1, 2012
Session II is an outstanding opportunity for officials to receive extensive 2-person classroom instruction, direct feedback following on-court assignments and be observed by area Coordinators.

CAMP STAFF:
Veteran collegiate officials and observers will help you using their many different styles and philosophies as a springboard to advanced learning.
Entering our 17th year, the staff has been dedicated to the improvement of officials at all levels. From the 1st year official to the official with significant collegiate experience, we are prepared to assist in your improvement. You will leave this camp with something to work on!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND “THE REFEREE SCHOOL”?
· The 3-person sessions are designed to properly instruct officials on the 3-person CCA knowledge needed to succeed as an ECAC college official.
· Our 2-person sessions are ideal for high school officials of all levels of experience. From the basics of 2-person officiating to the polish of moving up the ranks, you will learn it in the 2-person session.
