Imagina que estás en un restaurante en España…..

One partner is the waiter and the other two are the customers. The customers must choose what food and drinks they want off the menu while the waiter writes down what his/her customer wants to eat or drink. Have fun with this real life scenario of ordering in un restaurante!

El Restaurante Skit Requirements

El Camarero

 Waiter must greet and welcome customers to restaurant.

 Waiter must ask customers what they want to drink (take orders).

 Waiter must ask customers what they want to eat (take orders).

 Waiter must repeat food back to customers when serving them.

 Waiter must tell customers to help themselves and enjoy their meal.

 Waiter must return and ask about the food. (Did you like it, etc.?)

 At the end of the meal, waiter must ask if customers want anything else.

Los Clientes

 Customers must request a table and menus.

 Customers must express hunger/thirst.

 Customers must use 4-5 vocab words from food unit when placing order.

 At last one customer must request a missing utensil from table.

 Customers must ask for items to be passed to them at table.

 Customers must express their like / dislike of food to waiter.

 Customers can respond that they are full.

 Customers must ask for the bill and pay the waiter.

 Customers exit restaurant, adios, etc.

El Restaurante Grading Rubric

Group Script (15 puntos)
 All group members contribute to development of script. No translator is used.
 Group script initialed by me before the start of school on the day of the presentation.
 Several grammatical concepts are used with little to no mistakes.
Group Presentation (20 puntos)
 Evidence of practice as a group.
 Skit is well-organized and easy to understand by audience.
 Equal participation of members.
 Individual uses the notecard minimally and does not read directly from the script.
Vocabulary (5 puntos)
 Group utilizes maximum amount of vocabulary needed.
Pronunciation (10 puntos)
 Evidence of practice by individual.
 Group members try their best to pronounce each word carefully.
