Arrivals, Duration and Departures Checklist.
Arrivals
Register your arrival with warden, sign declaration on booking form
Agree the area(s) of the campsite that you will use
Agree which fire bases (if any) that you will use
Agree which water points (if any) that you will use
Confirm activities booked, date and time and number on activities
Confirm estimated bill
If welcome pack required, cash deposit to be paid (currently £5.00)
Check with warden for cleaning duties and location of cleaning materials
Vehicular access to the camping areas is at the discretion of the duty warden
All vehicles staying on site must be kept in the car park areas unless express permission to the contrary is given
During your visit
Ensure that all members of your group abide by the campsite rules
Attend to any cleaning duties punctually and to the required standard
Maintain your camping area in a tidy condition
Do not permit any of your party to cause any unreasonable nuisance or damage
Departures
Ensure that your camping area is cleared of all litter and debris
Any unused firewood must be returned to the wood pile
Any rubbish that could not be burned must be removed from the site
Ash must be cleared away, as directed by the duty warden
The toilets/showers must be left in a clean and tidy condition
Ensure that any equipment that has been borrowed/hired is returned in a clean and tidy condition. Report any damage to the warden.
Vehicular access to the camping areas is at the discretion of the duty warden
Return welcome pack and collect deposit refund
Pay the bill before departure
Check with the warden that he is satisfied that all of your duties have been completed to the required standard and that your camping area is left in a satisfactory condition before leaving the site
Please note
If your camping/activity area is not left in a clean and tidy condition;
If the toilets/showers are not left in a clean and tidy condition;
If any damage has been caused by members of your group;
Your group will be charged for the time and materials required to correct the problem. In the first instance this will be by means of cashing your deposit cheque.
