BCLA COLLEGE FELLOWSHIPS FOR
Spring 2013
Proposals are now being solicited for the Spring 2013 BCLA College Fellowship for Continuing Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty. College Fellowships provide faculty in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts with opportunities to complete a substantial research/creative project or to concentrate effort at a critical phase of a research/creative project. College Fellows are released from a substantial portion of their regular responsibilities during the fellowship semester.
Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis with priority given to projects nearing completion and with high expectation of publication or at critical phase. Applicants applying under the “critical phase” criteria must provide convincing evidence that without the fellowship, the project would be substantially at risk. A maximum of two College Fellowships are awarded per semester.
During the fellowship semester, each College Fellow will teach one three-unit course and be released from all University and Departmental service.
