Doggie Daycamp Rules and Regulations
To ensure the safety and health of all animals and staff at The Animal Lodge, we require all clients to comply with the following rules and regulations.
AGE: We accept dogs of all ages. If your dog is over 6 months of age, they must be spayed or neutered.
GENDER: All campers must be spayed or neutered (unless they are under 6 months of age.)
VACCINES: All campers must have up-to-date vaccinations. Please submit written verification that your camper(s) have had, and are current on DHLPP, Rabies and Bordetella. The Bordetella is required annually; we recommend it every 6 months to keep your pets immunity high. All campers will be examined for signs of fleas and ticks and WILL NOT be admitted to daycamp if fleas or signs of fleas or ticks are noticed. This “spot check” is not a foolproof process; therefore, The Animal Lodge highly recommends a flea and parasite preventative, excluding flea\tick collars.
FOOD: All treats must be labeled.
HEALTH: The Animal Lodge will inform clients of any active coughing or sneezing identified in any dog. The daycamp client should inform the camp counselor of any symptoms seen after the dog has been in attendance at Doggie Daycamp.
MEDICATIONS: All medications must be in their original container marked with clear and complete instructions. Please fill out a Prescription card at the front desk during check-in.
BEHAVIOR: All campers must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. They must pass a temperament evaluation and a 3-day trial period. Please schedule a 15-20 min appointment for your pets’ evaluation. Please remember that your pet will be spending time with other pets and the health and safety of every camper is our main priority. Keep in mind, although it is supervised play, your dog still might acquire an occasional nip or scratch.
ENROLLMENT: All campers must have a complete, up-to-date enrollment form on file. If your dog has been out of daycamp for two months or more, a re-assessment is required.
FEES: Due and payable at time of check-in. Discounted packages are available if paid in advance and expire 6 months from purchase date. Please see Daycamp flyer for details.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. All daycampers must be checked in by 11:00 am. Campers must be picked up before 6:00 pm or a $15 late charge will be assessed. After 30 minutes your pet will be boarded at regular boarding rates.
RESERVATIONS: Required 24 hours in advance.
PAYMENT: We accept cash, or check.
CANCELLATIONS: Must be made at least 24 hours in advance to the scheduled day. If less than 24 hours you will be charged for that day.
