“AutoBotix”- workshop Proposal
OBJECTIVE:
- To groom, empower budding engineers to make them self-sufficient in the field of robotics and automation by giving them real time hands on exposure to built robots.
- To raise the technical skilland bridge the gap between industries required skill sets and academia acquired skill.
- To motivate, inspire and encourage young engineers to begin R&D work in the field of robotics to make India recognised in the world.
- To appreciate the role of robotics in today’s industry and making a career out of it.
- To think, design, develop and implement new application of intelligent Robots.
OUTPUT OF WORKSHOP:
- Students will be confident and capable to build their own robot and can participate Robotics competitions at IIT’s and premier institutes.
- Attendee will be capable of designing any application by integrating multidisciplinary concepts and can understand all the process of an automation industry.
- Participants can choosetheir career in robotics and automation field and can publish their papers in International/National Journals.
- Students will be ready for the 21’st century’s workshop.

The following projects will be done during the workshop, where the students can develop their own many robots:-
Projects / DescriptionManual Robot / Manual remote control robot designing
Pick and Place Robot / Pick and place mechanism design and attaching it to the robot.
Sensor design / To design a Sensor by help of components and PCB , hands on soldering and testing the circuit.
Light follower robot / Designing a robot which will move /stop depending to the source of light.
Line Tracing with Dual Sensor / Designing a robot to follow a black/white line with dual sensor module.
Obstacle sensing & avoidance / Obstacle avoidance and detection with shortest path finding algorithm.
Advanced line tracing Algorithm / Black Line in white surfaceand white line in black surfaces tracing.
Grid solving / Grid solving algorithm.
Wall Follower / Wall follower algorithm with mono sensor, Dual sensor & triple sensor.
ELIGIBILITY OF PARTICIPANTS:
- Participants must be good at fundamental and basic science.
- He/she must be research enthusiastic.
- He/she should be creative, imaginative, deep thinker.
- He/she should be good at mathematics.

HOW TO ORGANISE THE WORKSHOP:
- First Institute/UniversityAuthority/Workshop organizing chairperson should decide two convenient days to execute the workshop and space for that as per the requirement of SakRobotix.
- The organizing institute should send the confirmation letter to the below contacts:

If it is convenient to SakRobotix, then we will send you the workshop confirmation letter on the same scheduled dates, else we will discuss further to fix the final dates.
- Participating institute should create awareness and motivate students to attend this exciting program.
- Professional charges should be collected by the college/university authority/Student coordinator of the workshop and must shall paid to M/s: SakRobotix lab after the day-1 of event.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Minimum no of attendee required to organise the workshop is 100.
- 4 no of student will grouped together to form a team during the workshop.
- One robotics kit components will be provided to a team during the workshop.
- The robotics kit must and should return with good condition to SakRobotix after the workshop.
- In case if any individual/team wants to take away the kit/accessories, then they have to make an additional payment as per the workshop discount prices.
- Organizing institute/university should confirm the date of workshop before 7 working days.
- In case of any changes in the scheduled workshop dates, institute/university can reschedule it but before 4 working days of the prescheduled dates only.
- To avail SMRF stipend scheme, the participating institute/university must have to sign up an MOU to become SakRobotix Robotics Activity Campus.
- Payment for the workshop must and should be paid after the day 1 activity to the workshop manager.
