Dear
Re: Wharncliffe Gardens – heating and hot water upgrade works (contract P133b)
We have been appointed by CityWest Homes to carry out the upgrade works which will be starting on Tuesday 7 April and are planned to take one year to complete. We would like to take this oppportunity to introduce ourselves as the main contractor for the these works and to inform you of some important information.
Site office
For the first three weeks we will be constructing the site compound next to Castleford Court, at the end of Henderson Drive. We will also be using the area next to the boiler rooms and childrens play area for storing of waste material. This will only be used when the ground works are being carried out (for about three months).
Project Plan
· April to July– will involve renewing the district pipe work around the estate. Please see the drawing on the reverse of this letter to give you an idea of where pipe runs are located.
· April/May – start of individual surveys to properties requiring works. There will be a chance to discuss individual issues and to explain the works in further detail.
· May to April 2016 – flat works including replacing radiators, renewing mains water service risers, and converting the cold water tank and cylinder to a single HIU (heat interface unit.)
