Friday 08.30 - 18:00

Saturday 09:00 - 17:00

Sunday 14:00 - 18:00

Our email address is or you can telephone us on 023 8079 6541. Our web address is http://www.soton.ac.uk/library/about/hsl

/ To help you find your way around the library, there is a map on the back of this sheet. We’re on one level, so you shouldn’t find it too daunting!
The Health Services Library is part of the University of Southampton Library so you can still use your Student ID card to borrow books. If there are titles held at the Hartley Library that you would like to borrow, use the WebCat to request the item to be brought across for you.
As in the Hartley Library, we don’t lend our journals so self-service photocopiers are provided - just key in your University ID and password. A credit top up machine is near to the photocopying room.
There are plenty of University computers for you to use – one workstation area is in the library itself, there are two others nearby in the block.
To access SUHTranet, you’ll need to use an NHS PC. There are a number of these computers in the library – just ask at the Loans Desk /

If you are registered with ATS, there are workstations in the library that you can use.

If you need help with accessing any of the library services, please ask at the Loans Desk or Enquiries Desk.
