POSITION: Director of Accounting, Full Time

LOCATION: Clarkesville Campus

Description: The Director of Accounting is responsible for the administration, development, and implementation of initiatives, and, supervision of employees. Manages the comprehensive accounting and financial activity for the college. Analyzes financial data statistics, cash flow, performs budget analysis, and financial projections. Prepares financial statements. Must have Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Access), with demonstrated expertise in complex Excel-based financials.

Minimum Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, public administration or a closely related field AND

·  Three (3) years full time accounting work experience

Preferred Qualifications

·  Master’s degree in accounting

·  Knowledge of PeopleSoft accounting system

·  Knowledge of Banner Student Management System

Salary/Benefits

Salary is commensurate with education and work experience. Benefits include retirement, paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
