INFORMATION NOTE FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
EUROSTAT in cooperation with INSTAT is organizing one day meeting. The discussion topics are presented in the agenda.
The venue
The event will take place in the Statistical office, in Tirana, at the following address:
Blvd ZhanD’Ark, Nr.3, Tirana
Expected schedule
Start of the meeting is planned for 1st of July at 9.00 with the registration of participants. (see agenda for details)
Working language
The meeting language will be English.
Meals/Coffee breaks
Coffee, tea and refreshments will be served during the breaks in the morning and in the afternoon.

Transport from the airport
If you are arriving at the TiranaAirport you can reach the city by taxi and by bus. The airport is located 18 km from the center of the city. The taxi fare is 15-20 Euro depending on the arrival time. The Bus fare is 2 Euro. The taxi rank is right on the left of the terminal.Taxis are available according to the actual arrivals of flights. Please contact us in case you need taxi booking.
Money Exchange
The currency is Lek and the exchange rate with Euro is: 1 Euro = 141Lek. There are sufficient number of exchange offices, and banks. The exchange rate in exchange offices and banks is almost identical and there is no commission.
