Community and Parental Engagement PPPRE-KINDER – 12th Grade
Community engagement is the extent to which the greater community is involved in the success of the district. It includes community support through financial avenues, human support, and collaborative opportunities for the district and its students. GISD prides itself in providing opportunities for students, families, community members and organizations resulting in positive partnerships and reciprocal relationships that promote student success.

Fine Arts PRE-KINDER – 12th Grade
Greenville Independent School District provides involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skill. Fine Arts learning can also improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.Instruction in the arts is an integral component of a balanced curriculum in GISD.Many Greenville ISD students have completed high school with experiences that have enriched their lives through the study of the arts.GISD provides students a well-balanced education which includes quality fine arts instruction in all our schools.

Educational Programs for theGifted and Talented KINDER – 12th Grade
Greenville Independent School District provides instructional opportunities and learning experiences designed to meet the unique needs of students with significantly advanced general intellectual ability and/or specific subject matter aptitude in language arts, science, social studies and/or mathematics. These programs provide an appropriately differentiated curriculum in an effort to help students work to their fullest potential. Gifted and Talented Program services may include a modified delivery of instruction for students by accelerating and/or providing for greater depth, more complex content, and enrichment activities.

21st Century Workforce PRE-KINDER – 12th Grade
Greenville Independent School District equips students with not only the content but the skills to apply that content to be successful in the 21st Century. Many students are able to acquire certifications in high school for competitive attractive jobs in the workforce upon graduation. Others follow college paths to continue to develop interests, talents, and skills.
