I obtained my BSc and MSc from theUniversity of Duhok, in Kurdistan region of Iraq, and PhD from the University of New England, Australia. More recently (2006), I completed studies for the Graduate Certificate in
My research interests centre on the nutrition and physiology of poultry, using biochemistry, digestive enzyme activity and gut histomorphology. More recently, I have been involved in research into natural growth promoters and essential oils in poultry. I have published close to 8 peer-reviewed journal articles. I have made more than 9papers and presentations at international conferences. I am currently teaching undergraduate students at animal production department/ University of Duhok
I also review for some international scientific journals.
