The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon
Cast List
To the Cast and Crew: PLEASE READ THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH! The ensemble is listed below, as are some key roles. Some of the other roles are already decided, some are in progress. All of your roles/casting is dependent upon your reviewing the rehearsal schedule and signing a commitment contract. We will discuss this in more detail at our first cast meeting which will be at 3:30 this Thursdayand some things will be decided further there. I will do my best to keep that meeting short, but I need you there. We have a very limited amount of time to make this perfect, so each rehearsal is incredibly important. Also, please keep in mind that there are a ton of people who wanted this as much as, if not more than, you. And they’re all pretty talented also. You are not irreplaceable, so make sure you are committed to this. With that said, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You rock and I can’t wait to get started! Please stop by at your earliest convenience to pick up a script, contract, and schedule. Please initial next to your name to indicate that you accept your role.

To All: Thank you all for your patience! This has been one of the most difficult shows I’ve EVER cast. There are a lot of reasons for this, among them the nature of the show itself and the need for it to be as tight as possible, while still containing over 20 characters. Another reason is that there are so many of you who are so insanely talented. I could have cast this six times over and still had a really solid cast each time. Like it often does, this came down to putting the puzzle pieces together and taking a leap of faith that the picture I think I have is the one I need. Congratulations to those of you cast, and congratulations to the rest of you as well. You were all extremely brave to get up there and act your hearts out and I am blessed to be working with you all at SDHS. If you want feedback on your audition, please come see me. And to all of you, please audition for the musical! We need you! (If you want some work on auditions before the musical, come see me as there is a workshop opportunity coming up.) Take Drama classes, keep auditioning, and have confidence in yourself—You were amazing!
Thank you!
Mrs. Bussey
