1.04 - DESCRIPTION (APPLICATION)
A. Trailer Height - Unit shall accommodate a standard highway trailer of 13 feet 6 inches high.
B. Dock Height - Loading dock height shall be 48 inches.
C. Dock Seal - Projection at top from building wall to be 10 inches and overall width to be 116 inches. Distance from grade to top of dock seal to be 168 inches.

Part 2 - Products
2.01 - ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS AND MODEL

2.02 - EQUIPMENT
A. COMPONENTS: Each unit shall consist of header frame, wiper pad, storage curtain and (2) two support brackets.
B. FRAMING: Stationary head frame shall be constructed of superior grade pressure treated lumber covered with translucent fibreglass securely fastened to framing. The head frame to be peaked for drainage. Provide a storage curtain around perimeter to cover sides of framing.
B. WIPER PAD: A base fabric layer of 50 ounce Weartough vinyl shall enclose a polyurethane foam core that shall be chemically bonded to the backing lumber. A second layer of 50 ounce Weartough fabric to be on the front leading face and bottom section of the pad. The pad shall be firmly attached to the head frame before shipment.
C. PROJECTION: Unit shall projection a total of 30 inches from building wall.
D. HARDWARE: Two galvanized steel support brackets and attachment hardware to be included.
E. WARRANTY: Unit shall include the manufacturers standard a (1) one year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Part 3 - Execution
3.01 – INSTALLATION
A. Install in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
B. Caulk between the building wall and unit.
