CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
· Secured senior management approval for the Business Case relating to a major offshoring of 50 IT professionals from Germany to India, and took ownership for the subsequent programme involving the smooth transition, which over five years would deliver OPEX savings of €30m (€5m in Year One).
· Personally resolved a €6m misalignment in the 2016/17 Budget caused by HP Support Contract with Vodafone, identified and recovered a €1.3m overpayment which otherwise would have caused an overrun.
· Drove the review and re-design of all month end processes for Vodafone Group Technology that realised a reduction in process time, and led to a decrease in the number of FTEs required from 2.5 to 2 with a view to a further reduction to 1.5.
· Took a lead role in driving the discussion relating to the decommissioning of Cloud involving senior level stakeholders including Group Technology FD, and address whether it should be treated as restructuring costs.
· Managed multiple process re-engineering initiatives including significantly improving labour capitalisation process.
· As Shared Services Reporting Manager at Vodafone, led the successful implementation of a robust reporting framework for all centres with full approval from CFOs, and realised significant savings as a result of migrations to Shared Services.
· Acted as Project Manager for key EPM Project involving Vodafone Shared Services India and the alignment of closing with other Operating Companies from July 2011 onwards.
· Invited Group Treasury to VISPL (Shared service centre) and facilitated the building of good relations between these two parties and the banks, which brokered a deal for VISPL to support NEFT (BACS) payment with Citibank.
· Acted as Senior Finance Manager for Vodafone Group Services, directed three legal entities within India including JV and managed investment in China Mobile of a 3.2% stake, with a dividend return of £1.5m.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2014-2016: Senior Manager, Transformation Programmes Vodafone, London
· As Senior Manager, Collaboration & Productivity Technology Department (Office IT) (2015-2016) tasked with reviewing and updating budgets for 2016/2017 and streamlining reporting processes to eliminate error and increase productivity.
· Streamlined the Dashboards for the Data Centre, Networks and Office IT OPCOs to improve reporting on recharges (volume/prices), gaining full ‘buy-in’ on the re-designs from the CTOs and CFOs of each OPCO.
· As Senior Manager, Consumer Products & Services Department (2014-2015) tasked with undertaking the Business Case review for migrating 50 highly skilled IT professionals from the UK and Germany to India.
· Initiated and developed a new R HRmonthly reporting and forecasting system that unified all common sources of data and which replaced the previous offline analysis from spread-sheets that had led to misaligned reporting.
2014-2014: PMO Lead, Finance Migration Programme GlaxoSmithKline, London
· Appointed to a newly created role at GSK’s global headquarters with responsibility for the Programme and Project Management of the Finance Migration Programme, reporting directly to the VP CBS Finance Transformation.
· Developed the full suite of project management tools for managing the change control process. Key focus on facilitating a regional risk management process; testing and performance measurement and reporting procedures.

2013: Shared Services Reporting Manager.
· Appointed to new role with responsibility for the design and alignment of P&L reporting frameworks of legal entities in India (2 call centres: 1 domestic & 1 international), Egypt and Hungary, liaising directly with local CFOs/FDs. 12 months in post.

2011-2013: Senior Manager Shared Service Centre (SSC) Organisation Governance.
· Responsible for ensuring all SSCs in India (2 locations: Pune & Ahmedabad), Hungary (Budapest) and Egypt (Cairo), together employing 10,000 across all SSCs, are aligned to Group governance structure.
· Key focus on the design and implementation of uniform procedures/processes for use by all SSCs to standardise and improve controls on the procurement and purchasing of high-value CAPEX and OPEX equipment.
· Successfully introduced and implemented SSO monthly reporting and closure processes.
· Integrated Vodafone India Services Private Limited (VISPL) within Group reporting and planning processes, transitioning VISPL from the Hyperion financial system to EPM.

· Undertook extensive travel to India to drive effective regional reporting from 3 Vodafone plc majority owned businesses (Vodafone Essar ltd, Tower Co and Domestic Shared Services) delivering £4bn revenue (150m customers).
