Description
The Lloyd Carr-Harris Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating student of the Peel District School Board registered in Business or Commerce studies at a recognized Canadian university. The principal of each Peel secondary school will be able to nominate one candidate to be considered for this award. The award will be for $5,000.00 towards the first year tuition at a Canadian university.
NOTE: For the interview process, students may be “short listed”.

Criteria
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen.
- Applicant must be enrolled in a business or commerce program at a Canadian University in September.
- Applicant must have a 90% mark or better on 6 grade 12 U or M courses
- Applicant must have demonstrated an interest in and a commitment to Business and Commerce and/or Entrepreneurship in the school and in the community.
- Each Peel secondary school may identify one candidate.

- why he/she is entering business/commerce studies
- the ways in which the student has demonstrated interest in, and commitment to, the areas of business, commerce and/or entrepreneurship, both within the school and the community.
