CONGRATULATIONS to the CHS EQUESTRIAN TEAMfor their FIRST PLACE TEAM finish at their 3 day competition last week/weekend. CHS Equestrians’ Hailey Bermingham, Ava Holmes, Mackenzie Imes, and Sasha Morgan had several top 10 finishes that helped propel Cascade into the First Place Team finish! Our next competition is April 5-8 in Wenatchee. That’s during Spring Break so we’d love to see you!
Come join the Cascade High School Actor's Guild as they present Stephen Sondheim's musical, Into the Woods. Shows are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 22-24 at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $10/$5 for students with ASB ID and seniors. We would love to have as many district staff attend as possible! This is a great show with lots of humor, drama, and great music. We will even have a live orchestra! Come support live theater in our school district.
CAMP COUNSELOR OPPORTUNITY:The Y Camp is looking for a sophomore or junior interested in training to become a camp counselor. Scholarships are available. If you are interested, see Mrs. Kelly or Mr. Alailima-Daley.

COMMUNITY SERVICE Opportunity:Upper Valley Connection plays basketball every Tuesday (March 20, 27 and April 10, 17, 24) from 5 pmto 6:30 pm in the IRMS Gym and we would love to have helpers. This would qualify for community service hours.

SPRING SPORTS EQUIPMENT DRIVE If you have any lightly used sporting equipment such as baseball mits, bats, tennis rackets, track spikes, golf clubs, and tennis shoes in good condition please drop off in the box located in the old gym. If you are in need of any of this equipment, feel free to take from the box!
PROM DRESS GIVEAWAY EVENT - The Jr Service League of Wenatchee (JSLW) is holding its annual Prom Dress Giveaway. There will be nearly 500 new or gently used prom dresses. JSLW volunteers will help girls pick out a prom dress to wear for the big spring event, making their dreams of wearing a beautiful dress to the prom a reality. Dresses are available in various, sizes, colors, & styles. Prom is not just about the dress, it’s also about hairdos, nails, dinner, photos, tickets and other accessories. We will be raffling off these donated items from local community businesses to help complete their look and their overall prom experience. The event is free and open to all high school students. Students must show their Student ID to be admitted into the event. The event will be held on Saturday, March 24, from 10am to 4 pm at Mission Village (212 Fifth Street) in Wenatchee.

SENIORS - There are several LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES approaching so be working hard and finishing strong for these financial opportunities! Do not wait until the last minute for letters of reference, etc.
PEACE CORPS - Have you ever dreamed of traveling the world to be of service to different people andcultures and make an impact in our world? The Peace Corps is going to be coming into Cascade to speak to students of all ages about this amazing program and what opportunities it offers you. So whether you've put a lot of thought into your plans after high school or you haven't thought about it at all, keep your optionsopen and come to this presentation! This coming Monday, March 26th at 9:40 in the Career Center. Please see Mrs. Schmitten with any questions!

If you are having trouble securing a substitute through AESOP, feel free to stop by my desk and I will assist you. It is imperative that CHS staff plan ahead and secure a substitute as soon as they know they are going to be absent.
