Loving God, Loving Others and
Leading People to Christ
A Lord’s Day Worship Gathering
November 5, 2017
Preparing for Worship
The Lord’s Day is the first and best day of the week for the people of God. We gather together as the church to corporately worship Jesus Christ and be nourished by His Word.
It is our desire to promote a deep love for Jesus Christ in all things, among all people, for their joy and His glory. We encourage you to take time before the service to prayerfully prepare your heart and mind to worship the Lord and celebrate His presence.
Call to Worship Matthew 11:27-30
God is the first word and because of this we believe true worship happens when God initiates it, by calling sinners through repentance to come and worship Him. Therefore, we begin worship with His Word--His invitation to us to worship in His Name.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Invocational Prayer of Adoration
This is a prayer asking God to be with us as we worship.
THERE IS JOY IN THE LORD CHERI KEAGGY
There is joy in the Lord, there is love in His Spirit
There is hope in the knowledge of Him
There’s a fountain that flows like a river from heaven
Abounding in love to my soul
All blessing and honor are His
All glory and power are His
Let all wisdom and strength
Be the Lord’s in this place
Let all glory be given to Him
There is joy in the Lord, there is love in His Spirit
There is hope in the knowledge of Him
There’s a fountain I know ev’ry time I am near it
My heart overflows to the Lord
All blessing and honor are His
All glory and power are His
Let all wisdom and strength
Be the Lord’s in this place
Let all glory be given to Him
There is joy in the Lord, there is love in His Spirit
There is hope in the knowledge of Him
There’s a fountain that flows like a river from heaven
Abounding in love to my soul
Abounding in love to my soul
Abounding in love to my soul

BLESSED BE YOUR NAME MATT AND BETH REDMAN
Blessed be Your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out I’ll
Turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's all as it should be
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out I’ll
Turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Prayer for Missions Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
REVIVE US AGAIN HUSBAND/MACKAY
We praise thee, O God
For the Son of Thy love,
For Jesus Who died, and is now gone above.
Hallelujah, Thine the glory! Hallelujah, Amen!
Hallelujah, Thine the glory, revive us again.
We praise Thee, O God, for Thy Spirit of light,
Who hath shown us our Savior,
And scattered our night.
Hallelujah, Thine the glory! Hallelujah, Amen!
Hallelujah, Thine the glory, revive us again.
All glory and praise, to the Lamb that was slain,
Who hath borne all our sins
And hath cleansed every stain.
All glory and praise to the God of all grace,
Who has brought us, and sought us,
And guided our ways.
Hallelujah, Thine the glory! Hallelujah, Amen!
Hallelujah, Thine the glory, revive us again.
Hallelujah, Thine the glory! Hallelujah, Amen!
Hallelujah, Thine the glory, revive us again.

days of elijah robin mark
These are the days of Elijah,
Declaring the Word of the Lord,
And these are the days of Your servant, Moses,
Righteousness being restored.
And though these are days of great trials,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still we are the voice in the desert crying,
“Prepare ye the way of the Lord.”
Behold, He comes, riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun, at the trumpet call.
Lift your voice, it’s the year of Jubilee,
And out of Zion’s hill salvation comes.
And these are the days of Ezekiel,
The dry bones becoming as flesh,
And these are the days of Your servant, David,
Rebuilding a temple of praise.
And these are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in Your world.
And we are the laborers in Your vineyard,
Declaring the Word of the Lord.
Behold, He comes, riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun, at the trumpet call.
Lift your voice, it’s the year of Jubilee,
And out of Zion’s hill salvation comes.

Affirmation of Faith Revelation 5:9-10
Congregation: They sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.”

Celebration of the Lord’sSupper
The Lord invites us to His table to receive strength and joy in Christ.
Introduction to the Lord’s Table
The Lord Jesus instituted this covenant meal to be observed in His churches until He returns. We gather around the table each Lord’s Day to remember the life, death and resurrection of Christ in place of sinners, to express our unity, and anticipate His return. All baptized believers, both covenant members and guests, are invited to eat the bread and drink the cup in obedience to Jesus’ command. We ask that the head of each household would govern and guard the celebration of the Lord’s table by their family, especially in the instruction and participation of children.
