1.0ABSTRACT:

6.0QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

7.0STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED:
7.1ARRANGEMENTS: Thecontractor shall provide all labor, material, staging, tools and a qualified electronic technician in 7.5to supervise and direct all labor, to disconnect the two GMDSS and one SSAS antennas, unmount them from the crow’s nest hand rail, reinstall the antennas on the fiberglass diving boards in accordance with MSC N6 Antenna Relocation Sketch,enclosure 2.2.1, install and reconnect new cable from the GMDSS and SSAS system to the antennas.
7.1.1The Contractor shall provide, rig and remove staging toaccomplish this work item.
7.2TESTS AND INSPECTIONS: The qualified electronic technician in 7.5shall furnish all special tools and test equipment required,recalibrate and perform all operationally tests, and demonstrate proper operation of the GMDSS and SSAS to the Radio Officer and Second Mate.
7.3PREPARATION OF DRAWINGS: The qualified electronic technician in 7.5 shall update the Antenna Arrangement Drawing, reference 2.2.2. The Contractor is to provide one hard copy and one electronic and 3 hard copies of the revised drawing in AutoCAD and PDF format.
7.4REPORTS: The qualified electronic technician in 7.5shall provide reports to the chief engineer and the port engineer.
7.4.1Submit a as found conditions report detailing as soon as inspections are complete, measurements are taken and condition observed along with recommended repairs if any needed to be accomplished. Additional repair deemed necessary by the PE shall be the subject of a change order.
7.4.2Submit a a service report,one electronic copy and two (02) typed copies when all work is complete. Report shall consist of all repairs accomplished to include but not limited to, all released dimensional readings, pictures, test data and reports by others and list of all the parts replaced as applicable.
7.4.3The service report shall be endorsed by Contractor QA, Project Officer,
Subcontractor, Port Engineer, and attending Regulatory Agency.
7.5The contractor shall provide a qualified electronic technician. Source information:
