MINUTES
Meeting opening was held, by consensus, until 7:30 PM due to road construction delays.

MINUTES:
Minutes of the April 28, 2005 Community Meeting were not approved due to lack of quorum.
FINANCES:
Leslie Bryan reported for Treasurer Kit Lauderdale that as of 6/21/05 bank balance is 4,209.51 with one outstanding check for $250.00 for the Watershed Group sign on Hwy. 299 28, 2005.
Treasure’s Report was not approved due to lack of quorum.
Leslie Bryan updated the community on WSRCD Projects in the area which include the Student Restoration and Monitoring Community Collaborative Project, continuing French Fire rehabilitation projects, and hazard tree evaluation and removal. Leslie also informed the group of the Lower Clear Creek Watershed Group/CRMP meeting scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday June 29, 2005 at the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District Office in Anderson. Included on the meeting’s agenda is a presentation on the CALFED’s Environmental Water Programs approval to move forward with the development of a Full Proposal for the Clear Creek Flow Augmentation Project.
Representatives from Bullion River Gold Corporation were present and available to answer questions from the community. The Corporation is interested in being on the August agenda in order to give an update to the community regarding their activities in the watershed.
Barbara Camacho, Project Coordinator for the Shasta County Fire Safe Council attended to discuss how the watershed group can form a Fire Safe Council Committee. Barbara will be available in the future to assist the group in formation and answer questions regarding fire safety and related project funding.
Stuart Gray, Projects Coordinator for Western Shasta Resource Conservation District (WSRCD) gave a presentation on invasive botanical species that may occur in the watershed. Stuart asks for folks to contact him with known locations of invasive species and is available to the community to identify possible invasive species and discuss eradication options. Stuart can be reached at the WSRCD at 365-7332 ext. 211.
