The expectations consumers have of the products they buy, including fashion and clothing, are rising all the time. Functional effects such easy care, water & oil repellence, anti-bacteria, etc. will gradually become normal specifications to certain products. While textiles that can encapsulate fragrance or skin care materials would definitely welcome by consumers with beauty concern. In parallel with product innovation, consumers are also more aware of the environmental impact of textile production. Application of newly developed processing technique that can minimise pollution and save energyis essential in generating sustained demand for apparel products.
