H.R. No. 193

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, January 31, 1999, is indeed a special day for Kevin Robert Peska and Sharon Pamela Clark, for on this day they will be united in marriage and begin their new life together as husband and wife; and

WHEREAS, The son of Mrs.Andrea Peska and the late Dr. Allen Peska, Mr.Peska earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Florida in Gainesville; after graduating from George Washington University with a doctorate of jurisprudence, Mr.Peska embarked on a career as a lawyer for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; and

WHEREAS, The lovely bridetobe is the daughter of Alvin and Betty Clark; after graduating from the University of Arizona with a bachelor of arts in sociology, Ms.Clark proceeded to the University of Houston and garnered a master's degree in social work; she currently works for the Hebrew Home in Rockville, Maryland; and

WHEREAS, This adoring couple will be married at the Junior League of Houston, with Rabbi Howard Sieger and Cantor Steve Berke officiating; the momentous event will take place on Super Bowl Sunday, a sure sign of the depth of their love and the strength of their commitment, given the fact that Mr.Peska is defined by his friends as a "sports nut"; and

WHEREAS, Since their first meeting, the relationship between Mr.Peska and Ms.Clark has continued to grow in love, respect, and lasting regard for each other, and it is indeed fitting that this fortunate pair be congratulated on the joyous celebration of their marriage; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 76th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Kevin Robert Peska and Sharon Pamela Clark on the happy occasion of their wedding and extend to them warmest best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr.Peska and Ms.Clark as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
