VPs of Ways & Means –Kathleen Marcus & Amy Cox – not in attendance

  • Jennifer Mears – discussed some possible ideas –
  • Bingo with kids after school
  • Bingo – Mom’s night out

VPs of Membership– Yukari Lofton & Wendi Raker – not in attendance

VP of Legislation – Mike Vozas

  • Bylaws approved
  • Did not need to review standing rules this year – will want to do that next year as part of good practice

Principal’s Report – David Morris

  • Thankful for approval of book room money
  • 5th & 6th grade get together Friday, May 24, 2013 – 3:30-5:30 p.m.
  • Jim Carr – DJ
  • Parents donate? – drinks, snacks, supplies etc.
  • Diane Fletcher retiring
  • Joanna Shostachuk moving full time Assistant Principal at Marion Jordan
  • Relocation drill coming up this month
  • Open house next year - April 30, 2014
  • 6th Grade 2013-2014 more focus on STEM –
    Based on 4 weeks rotations
