Treasurers Report: $55,789.55 to start and an ending balance of $55,787.55. Report accepted.
Boys VP: Please gather your coaches and start planning for CEP clinics. The third weekend in March, Exeter will host a level 1 on Sunday and level 2 on Saturday (at Exeter High School). Clinics are being held in Medford and Foxboro , Ma. Please place teams properly when registering in divisions. There are very few level 1’s signed up as of now. Spread the word.
Girls VP: Kevin B listed the same clinics. He urged towns to get coaches in line and get all certified as soon as possible. He mentioned clinics at Western New England, Medford, Sage School, Groton and Reading, Ma. All are listed on the US Lacrosse website.
Boys Officials: Registration is still open for the Londonderry & Wolfeboro trainings. You have to be 15 years old to take the course (unless taken with a parent at the same time). Wayne urged each town to try to get (1) adult and (1) youth from each. (25) totalslots for Londonderry and Wolfeboro. March 4th is the mandatory training for returning officials (in Londonderry). Then (2) tests need to be taken online. All information is listed online at NHYLA site.
Girls Officials: The training information is on the NHYLA site. The dates and locations will be the same as the boys (Bow, Londonderry and Wolfeboro). Each town is urged to promote this heavily. We are looking for (30) new officials (usually on 10 per year). Points of emphasis will be coaches conduct this year. Katherine handed out a flyer with all pertinent information listing location, dates, fees and rating. Please refer to that online at NHYLA site. Returning officials must email Katherine Sterns.
President: Dick’s Appreciation Weekend will be 3/10 & 3/11 (this is a change) with 20% off anything in the store or online (a few exceptions apply). There will be one or two more later (dates TBD). If you need anything for your organization contact Jeff Toler. His information is on the NHYLA site.
Exeter will be hosting a rules interpretation. Please contact Wayne or Katherine if you are interested in hosting. Registration for this season will be $165.00 per boys team and $180.00 per girls. The added $15.00 for the girl’s teams include all referee scheduling for the entire year (all league games & festival included / no scrimmages).
Steve has updated the rule changes on the NHYLA site and has sent to each program.
