New York, NY– February 1, 2012– The Village Voice’sfifth annual tasting event, “Choice Eats,”has announced another round of restaurants set to be participating in this year’s event. New restaurants just added include: BiLoKma, Culture: An American Yogurt Company, Del Posto, Ditch Plains, Emvi Chocolate, Goat Town, Littleneck, Luke’s Lobster, Maima’s Liberian Bistro & Bar, Mama’s Food Shop, Max, Nicky’s Vietnamese Sandwiches, No. 7 Sub, Northern Spy Food Co., Patacon Pisao, Robicelli’s, and SCRATCHbread. These restaurants will join previously announced restaurants: Ample Hills Creamery,Buka, Chinese Mirch,Court Street Grocers,Dean Street, Doughnut Plant,Edi and the Wolf,Fatty 'Cue,Gregory's 26 Corner Taverna,Jane's Sweet Buns, Kafana,Kelso Restaurant,La Morada, The Meatball Shop, Nom Wah Tea Parlor,Northeast Kingdom, Ovelia Psistaria Bar, Singh's Roti Shop,Sparrow Tavern, Spicy Bampa,Tanoreen,Tenpenny, Testaccio, and This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef.

Also announced today special guest chef-celebrity, Ty-lor Boring, of Bravo’s hit show, Top Chef Texas, will host a demo for all VIP ticket-holders during the VIP hour from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. “Choice Eats” will be heldonTuesday, March 13, 2012 from 6:30 – 9:30 PM at the 69th Armory on Lexington Avenue in New York City. All VIP ticketsfor Choice Eats have sold out and a limited number ofGeneralAdmission tickets are still available.

The Village Voicehas also announced its first annual “Choice Streets” Food Truck tasting event on Tuesday, April 24 from 7:00 – 10:00 PM, featuring over 25 of some of the city’sfavorite and highly sought-after food trucks. Set amid the backdrop of the New York Landmark – The Intrepid – attendees will feast onboard Pier 86 and enjoy an evening of fabulous food, drinks and an amazing view of New York City.Tickets for “Choice Streets” go on sale on March 7th.
