*12 free hours of preschool for any 4 year old by 9/16/17, based on state funding, Iowa residents only.

Meal Costs: Infants & Toddlers: $2.00/day for all meals

Two years- Preschool: $1.25/day for breakfast$2.25/day for lunch

Full time is 30 hours per week or more

Part time is between 20 and 30 hours per week.

Drop in is anything less than 20 hours a week *based on availability

Contracted Scheduled Hours (CSH) - Hours scheduled each week.

Overtime (OT) - Any hours used outside your contracted scheduled hours will be charged an overtime (OT) rate which is the part-time rate for your child’s age group.

Status Changes: You will only be allowed to change your rate status two times in a calendar year. You must fill out a Status Change Form at least 2 weeks prior to this change.

Discounts & Fees:

  • Minimum charges: There will be 20 hour minimum charge for all full time and part time children enrolled from two to Preschool and school children in the summer. Infants & Toddlers have a 30 hour minimum charge, and there will be a 7 hour minimum charge for all before and after school children during the school year.
  • Upon registration, a one-time non-refundable $150.00 deposit is required to guarantee your spot at Hills & Dales Childcare. When a two-week notice is given, the deposit will go toward your final payment(s) in childcare. No cash refunds will be given.
  • There is a $10.00 per family sunscreen charge that will be applied to your bill each April or upon enrollment in the summer months.
  • A late fee of $1.00 per minute per child will be applied to children in the building before or after operational hours (5:30am-6:00pm).
  • A 5% discount will be applied for families of 2 or more, enrolled as full time or part time status.
  • There will be a $25.00 fee for all insufficient funds.
  • Before and after school transportation fee of $2.50 per ride.
  • Any account not paid in full by Monday will receive a $5.00 late payment fee.
  • A $5.00 late schedule fee will be applied for any schedule turned in after noon on Wednesday.
