Dear Senior Parents,
As a culmination to their time here and the advisory program, the seniors will be participating in a Senior Showcase. On their last day, Monday, May 28th during 3rd and 4th periods (set up at 1:00; 1:30 begin presentations), your senior will complete the checkout process by showing accomplishments, activities, awards, clubs, etc. with a small display. They will attend the display to checkout with teachers, staff, and administration. This will complete their advisory portfolio requirements and allow time to say goodbye and reflect on their time at FHS. This is an opportunity for them to sign yearbooks, hand out senior pictures, and invite people to their graduation and celebrations. It is not a prepared speech or presentation; it is just a display showcasing them. Think grandparents’ “Brag Book”.
We need your help in preparation and completion of this project; however, this may help you too. This display may have been used in some form by you at senior nights for sports, church, 4-H, etc. You may recycle some of those items for this display, and it may function as a similar display for your graduation gatherings. Attached is the requirements/ideas form that your senior has already received. This is your copy to aid them in planning. Please feel free to join us for the showcase and assist with setup and take down.
