Anytime:

  • PLEASE LOOK OVER EACH QUESTION OF MATH HOMEWORK NIGHTLY. That helps you to know what to look for in your child’s progress. If they struggle with any particular item, write me a note right on the homework, or on an attached note and I will spend time with any student who needs help. 
  • We have done some crafts recently involving photographs and have a few coming up for Valentine’s Day that I have spent money on. If you are able, please send in $4.00 to help me cover the costs. Thanks to those who have sent it in. My husband appreciates it! 
  • Speech Meet info ( speech selections of poems and Bible passages as well as info on how to prepare and present) went home Friday. One sheet was missing (copier error…grrrr!) so I will be sending home two papers of info you should read over and be familiar with! You will have received one on Friday but not the other so please read them! Students must be ready to recite it two weeks before the Speech Meet, which is March 16. Will practice briefly in class from March 1ston, just to work on timing, etc.
  • VALENTINES INFO: A flyer will come home on Monday, 2/5 but one thing to be working on now, however, is a box for all those delightful Valentines! Any box will do, and they can even be bought at

craft stores, though I’d call around before driving because they do sell out early. Decorate a box, no bigger than a shoebox, with colored paper, ( or wrapping paper), designs, and hearts of course! Put a slot in the top for valentines to fit in. Get creative! Awards will be given for EVERY.SINGLE.BOX. A class list will come home Monday. Start decorating your box! 

  • A fun worksheet will come home Monday for our 100th Day of School celebration, due on 2/16. Also, start thinking of your costume for “101 Day” on Tuesday, Feb 20, where we will all be 101 YEARS OLD!
