ADMISSION:

• Only Learners identified to come from far away Farm Schools will as a rule be admitted into the hostel.
• Learners with special social problems may be admitted on the merits of each problem as per Departmental directive.

CODE OF CONDUCT

No furniture may be removed from the bedroom or foyer.

Beds, Mattresses, Bedding and Curtains may not be removed from one room to another.

No learner may switch on lights or occupy the room without prior permission.

Any damage or breakages that might occur to hostel property must be reported to the housemother or housefather or any senior in charge.

The senior learners in each room will be responsible for closing of windows and doors before leaving the room or sleeping.

Study period for seniors is 16h30-18h00

Time for waking up is 5 ’clock in the morning

In the morning breakfast is at 6hoo – 6h45

During supper it will be served from 17h30 – 18 h30

No late comers will be allowed in the kitchen and during study

No learners may enter private areas or rooms that have not been allocated to them.

Lights must be switched off after 21h30 in the night and when they

All rooms must be kept clean & tidy always.

Through cleaning should be done every Sunday between 9h00 – 11h00.

No Weapons or dangerous items that could be used to inflict harm or injury to other learner will be allowed in the premises.

Visiting time is only allowed on Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays between 13h00 – 17h00.

All boarders between should attend a church service at the great hall from 11h30 – 12h30 intheir private clothes.

Boys are not allowed to visit girl’s hostels and vice versa.

Learners are not allowed to visit home during the school days unless by the express concern of their parents or guardians, who must produce their IDS.

Stealing in any form is prohibited.

Fighting, Bulling, Insults and Abusive language is not allowed.

Pornographic materials are not allowed in the hostels.

No Photographs on the walls in the rooms.

No Boy friendship and Girl friendship will be allowed in the school.

Learners leaving personal property on school premises during vacation do so at their on risk, the school does not accept responsibility for the loose of or damage to property

No learner may absent him self or her self from the resident overnight.

Dodging:Learners, who dodge or runaway from the hostel without permission may be, spell from the hostel.

No private parties are permitted in the residence.

None of the following at anytime will be permitted in the residences

1. Any form of alcohol

2. Drugs

3. Radiosets Television and Electrical heaters and cell phones.

Smoking:Smoking in any form is prohibited in the hostels.

Learners must sign a statement signifying that they have read and understood the rules and will abide by them
