Treasurer’s Report:Jane on holidays – last official report was January 2015

Motion to accept year Jan 2014 to Dec 2014 report by Jorma, 2ndSaku, all approved

Business Arising:1.FA and TBFCHS museum space - The Board has booked the date of Thursday, April 2, 2015 6 p.m. to meet to come up with a plan and a proposal for the Finlandia Association Board regarding the museum space. As per our understanding with the FA and for our own interest, the Board will conduct an inventory of items in the current museum space on Monday, March 30, 2015.

2. A financial report was presented on the Coffee House Event. The event brought in a profit of $80, to which 50% will be shared with the ORAS Chamber Choir.

Motion – Jorma, 2ndSaku, all approved.

3. The AGM is planned for Sunday, May 10 at 2 p.m. Local genealogists and family history buffs will be asked to do a presentation or Q&A.

4. One box of Autot 2 Piilokuvakija was given to Pirjo for the Children’s Finn School

New Business:1. Finnish Heritage Day at Jasper Place - Multiple Finnish organizations were contacted in regards to Finnish Heritage Days. One of the organizations contacted them and provided an activity. Jasper Place is interested in showing Saku’s film, To My Son in Spain, at a later date.

2. JormaKangas from Minnetonka request for tour guide. – Multiple Finnish organizations have been contacted on behalf of Mr. Kangas. No word yet.

3. St. Urho’s Day Celebration – The TBFCHS did a short presentation on the origins of the myth. Kathy Toivonen also shared a table space with the THBCHS in the Tori.
