The flags will be placed on your property or place of business and at the location(s) you specify 1 -2 days prior to the holiday and retrievedafter the holiday, except on two occasions: (1) the flags will fly continually from Flag Day through Independence Day; (2) and again fromLabor Day through Patriot’s Day, Sept. 11. There is a choice of permanent in-ground or free-standing holders for the flags. There is a $5.00 additional charge for the free standing mount. A Rotary member will work with you to determine what will be best at your location. The proceeds of the project will benefit the many programs the Rotary Club of Marshall supports. Disclaimer: The In-Ground Flag Mounts are designed so as not to require marking of underground utilities. Such utilities are required by law to be buried well below the depth of the In-Ground Flag Mounts. The Rotary Club of Marshall is not responsible, however, for damage to underground sprinkler heads or pipe during the installation of the In-Ground Flag Mounts, as these are installed at much shallower depths than utilities are, so all property with underground sprinklers must have each flag-mount location clearly marked by the owner/subscriber, or his authorized agent. Flags, flag poles, hardware, and Free-Standing Mounts are property of the Rotary Club of Marshall.
