The share of culture in GDP was calculated by means of using the production method. When calculating the GVA in culture, the data from the Report on the Execution of the Consolidated Budget of the Republic of Belarus for Non-Market Service Providers, while for market producers (large, medium, small, micro-companies and sole entrepreneurs), the data of the state statistical surveys and administrative sources was used.
