First Announcement & Call for Papers

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 10th IFToMM International Symposium on Science of Mechanisms and Machines - SYROM’09, organized by the Romanian Association for the Science of Mechanisms and Machines (ARoTMM), in the Transilvania University of Braşov, Romania, during 12-15 October 2009.

The SYROM’09 is part of the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) conferences agenda.

SYMPOSIUM TOPICS

The general thematic of the symposium follows the mechanisms conception, modeling, analysis, synthesis, and command & control in advanced product design, focusing on but not restricted at the MultiBody System (MBS) approach, applied to:

  1. Conceptual design(linkages, gears, cams, complex mechanisms)
  2. Kinematic and dynamic analysis
  3. Modeling and simulation
  4. Command & control
  5. Synthesis and optimization
  6. Current trends in education
  7. Applications in high-tech products

IFToMM EVENT

The Technical Committee of IFToMM for Linkages and Cams will organize a thematic workshop during the conference.
