HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP: Estes Park, Colorado
June 25 – July 2, 2015
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WHAT SHOULD ALREADY BE DONE:
Ø The following items should already be turned in to Linnette Mercado in the church office (908-233-0301, ext. 22):
· 2014/2015 Youth Ministry Permission Slip (include Tetanus Shot date)
· Copy of your insurance card
· 2015 HSMT Medication Form
· 2015 Youth Registration Form
· Complete payment
WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE WE LEAVE:
Ø If students will be on ANY prescription medication during the trip, PARENTS must bring that medication and instructions for taking it to Linnette Mercado in the church office, no later than Thursday, June 18th by 5pm.
Ø NO UNAUTHORIZED MEDICAL PRESCRIPTIONS OR OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATION MAY BE CARRIED BY ANY STUDENT ON THE PLANE.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION
Ø Thursday, June 25th:
The itinerary for our departure is as follows:
Leaveà Newark, NJ 7:50 AM United Airlines Flight #UA 328Q
Arriveà Denver, CO 9:57 AM
Participants will meet at 4:45 AM at Newark Liberty International Airport at Terminal C, Upper Level, Door #7 Meet your Travel Leader on the curb at 4:45AM sharp. PLEASE BE PROMPT. All tickets will be distributed upon completion of baggage check at the group desk.

Ø All travellers need a form of ID. If you are 18 or older, your form of ID MUST BE either your DRIVER’S LICENSE or PASSPORT.
Ø Travelers who did not give Linnette Mercado their United Airlines frequent flyer mile number, may turn in their number at the check-in desk at the airport when you check your baggage.
Ø Food is available for purchase only on the flights. Please bring a brown bag of snacks, if needed. Everyone should eat breakfast before getting to the airport. Liquids are not allowed through security.
Ø On the trip to Denver on June 25, you must wear your BLUE PDA shirt that you have received. Casual attire is appropriate for the plane trip. Wear shorts at your own risk (it may be cool on the plane). Since Estes Park will be cooler, consider bringing a sweatshirt. To make more space and to and reduce the weight of your checked luggage, also consider wearing your work boots on the plane.
Ø No liquids or makeup larger than 3 oz. is allowed in carry-on luggage. ALL LIQUIDS AND MAKEUP IN CARRY-ON LUGGAGE MUST BE PLACED IN A ZIP LOCK BAG.
Ø The amount of luggage you can bring is limited to two items: One small carry-on bag and one bag to be checked that weighs 50 lbs or less.
Ø ACCORDING TO AIRLINE REGULATIONS, YOU ARE ALLOWED TO CHECK ONE BAG NOT WEIGHING MORE THAN 50 LBS. ALL BAGS WILL BE WEIGHED AT CHECK-IN BY THE AIRLINE OFFICIALS. ANYONE HAVING MORE THAN 50 LBS IN THEIR BAG WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE ITEMS BEHIND! PLEASE TAKE CAUTION AND PACK IN ADVANCE. OVERPACKING WILL COST US TIME AND YOU MONEY!
RETURNING TO NEW JERSEY
Ø Thursday, July 2nd:
Parents should meet our flight and drive their student home. If a student’s parents are unavailable, they must find another ride IN ADVANCE. Please pick up your child at Terminal C and remember to check flight information before leaving for the airport. The following is our flight information for our return home:
