GENERAL INFORMATION
v $5.00 per player. All skaters must pay and/or register at the Skate Rental Office, located in the lobby, next to THE Pro Shop.
v Limited to the first (20) skaters and (2) goalies.
v Unsportsmanlike conduct (checking, fighting, and roughing) will not be tolerated.
v Youth Drop-In Hockey and Sticks and Pucks are an unsupervised activity.
v All players/skaters participating in Youth Drop In must wear the following mandatory full equipment: shin guards, pants, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, throat protector, helmet with full face shield, internal mouth guard, skates and hockey stick. Goalies must also wear full goalie equipment. NO EXCEPTIONS! Sticks and Pucks participants must wear helmet, gloves and stick.
v Only non-marking pucks issued by the Kennedy Recreation Center may be used.
v Liability Release Form must be filled out with Parent/Guardian Signature.
v Please check daily schedule for assigned arena and locker room assignment.

AUTHORIZATION, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
TRENTON PARKS AND RECREATION
THIS RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT, ("Release") is made this ______, day of ______, 201_, by the undersigned Sponsoring Parent(s)
W I T N E S S E T H :
WHEREAS, the CITY OF TRENTON” (“CITY”,) in conjunction with its Department of Parks and Recreation, is offering unsupervised open skating and recreation hockey events to the public at the City’s Kennedy Center (Facility) located on West Rd., in the City of Trenton ("Events"); and
WHEREAS, Sponsoring Parent wishes his or her child to participate in such unsupervised Events at the Facility and hereby consents to, and authorizes such participation; and
WHEREAS, Sponsoring Parent acknowledges that participation in the Events may require exertion, bodily contact and the possibility of accidental injury or other trauma to participants; and
WHEREAS, despite these risks and warnings, Sponsoring Parent wishes his or her child participate in the unsupervised activities of associated with the Events.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the City permitting participation in such Events on CITY property, the Sponsoring Parent agree as follows:
1. Sponsoring Parents (Releasors) for themselves, participating child, executors, administrators, heirs, assigns, successors, next-of-kin and personal representatives, jointly and severally, do hereby expressly and forever waive, release, discharge the City of Trenton, its elected officials, officers, agents, employees and representatives, ("Releasees"), from and against any liability for injury, illness, death, or damages whatsoever, including without limitation, claims, demands, injuries or damages resulting from acts or omissions, of passive or active negligence, on the part of its City and its representatives, which may arise from the Events, including, but not limited to, assistants, Parents and volunteers, who may otherwise participate in, or supervise the Events, and further indemnify such Releasees from any third party claims arising out of such Event.
2. Further, Sponsoring Parents do hereby specifically acknowledge the possible risks of injury associated with the unsupervised Events, assume all risks associated therewith, and specifically authorize and consent to their child’s participation in the Event.
3. The below referenced signatories to this Release, do further warrant and represent that they have fully read the Agreement, understand its contents and meaning, that they have had every opportunity to consult with advisors and counselors of their own selection regarding the advisability of entering into such an Agreement, and that they are otherwise fully satisfied with the terms and conditions of participation in the Events, as well as the limitations and waivers of rights that they are entering into through the execution of this Agreement.
