Mrs. Dobbs’ Reading AssistName/Period:

Tracking Sheet

This sheet should be kept in your Related Arts binder and brought to class each time we meet. This will help you BEGIN WITH THE END IN MINDand stay FOCUSED.

Remember to do the following each day: (Place a in each box when finished)

  • Come to class on time and ready to work...you've got this!
  • Focus and concentrate while you are reading
  • Be sure to write down today's date and the reading selection title
  • Read the selection silently and then record your own voice reading the selection (It will take 3 times to record your reading)
  • Take the quiz and record your score each day...retake if score is below 80%
  • Record the highest Words Correct Per Minute (WCPM) on your tracking sheet
  • Be sure to record the amount of points you earned for each selection as well
  • Do not disturb your neighbor...respect their space and let them work just like you
  • Raise your hand if you need help or have a question
  • At the end of class, wait for Mrs. Dobbs to tell you to log-out...don't log out early, you'll be off task and that's never a good thing.
