GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVES TO HOLD ASSEMBLY AND

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

The Association of Regional Executives of National Agencies (ARENA-7) in Region 7 will hold its General Assembly and Election of Officers on March 25, 2009, Wednesday, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at the Malacañang sa Sugbo, Port Area, Cebu City. It is truly a significant event as it reinforces the aspiration of the regional executives for committed public service in the light of mutual cooperation and camaraderie. The activity will also usher in new set of ARENA-7 Officers.

The theme for the association’s upcoming GA is “Resiliency In Challenging Times.” Hon. Cerge Remonde will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. He will also serve as the Inducting Officer for the upcoming set of officers.

ARENA-7 is a legitimate association incorporated as non-stock, non-profit, composed of regional executives of national agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations who have bonded together for the common good of the region. It is an active member of the National Union of Career Executives Service Officers (NUCESO) and has been a conduit of the Career Executive Service Board (CESB) in its career programs that need to be carried out at the regional level.

The association has been in existence for a long period of time serving as a partner of the Office of the President-Central Visayas (OP-CV) in its outreach program, collaborating with certain institutions to ensure better public service, and working for the common benefit of all its members in the central Visayas region.
