- Please provide the salary details for each post on your Rectorate Team members , the membership as detailed on your website. You must provide the salary on 1st October 2009, 2010 and 2011.
a)The Vice-Chancellor's remuneration package is published in the University's audited financial statements.
The Vice-Chancellor’s salary as at 1st October 2009 and at 1st October 2010 are published in the financial statements for year ended 31st July 2010 and 31st July 2011 respectively. The Financial Statements areavailable at in Notes (Section 5): Emoluments of the Rector
The Vice-Chancellor’s salary as at 1st October 2011 will be published in the financial statements for year ending 31st July 2012.
Section 22 of the Freedom of Information Act provides anexemptionfrom providing the information when it is intended for future publication. Statements for 2011-12 will be published following approval of the year end accounts by University Council at its AGM in November 2012.
b)Section 40(2) of the FOI Act provides an exemption from disclosing information about identifiable individuals where this would breach the Data Protection Act 1998. Exact salaries would be such a breach and therefore the salary information for Rectorate Team members is provided in £10,000 bands.
