Minutes Approval – Motion to approve the minutes of September 19, 2016, meeting, made by Bakalyar/Monson all yes, motion carried.

Accounts payable –Motion to approve the payments as presented, in the amount of $43,353.40 made by Hall/Pavelko, all yes, motion carried.

AGENDA ITEMS:

1.  Street Project Pay Request $245,145.60 – Motion to approve the partial pay request of Schmit Construction made by Monson/Bakalyar, all yes, motion carried.

2.  Resolution 16-30 --Naming general election judges – Motion to approve Resolution 16-30 made by Hall/Pavelko, all yes, voice vote, motion carried.

3.  Farm Land Lease Extension – Motion to extend the farm land lease to Jacob Ackermann in the amount of $160 per acre, plus he is responsible for personal property taxes on the acres for 2017 made by Monson/Bakalyar, all yes, motion carried. Staff will work with the city attorney to formulate the lease.

4.  Engineering Services contract for chlorine/dechlorinating feed equipment – Motion to approve the agreement with an estimated cost of $7,050 made by Hall/Pavelko, all yes, motion carried.

1.  “Thrive” ministry Multi-Purpose request letter – No action taken, invite Pastor Hedstrom to the next meeting to discuss details of the request

DEPARTMENT REPORTS:

1.  Police Dept – Chief Andrew is beginning to see progress in removal of “junk” vehicles from the community.

INFORMATIONAL ITEMS

1.  Spark’s Park Bathrooms – Mayor Nissen shared information for the building project for bathroom/shower facilities for Spark’s Park. The building will be a project of Lakefield Public Utilities.
