East Central Community College is a junior college located in Decatur, Mississippi. ECCC serves a five-county district: Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Winston counties. It opened in September 1928.

The Band's name is Wall O' Sound Marching Band. It was named by band director, Thomas W. Carson. Tom Carson died in 2013

The "Warriors" is the name of the ECCC athletic teams and their colors are black and gold. They are a member of the NJCAA Region 23.

Scholarships:

Each student must have a high school grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale (90 or higher numerical average) to be eligible for this scholarship. Students who have ACT scores of 20 or above will not be eligible to receive both an ACT Scholarship and an Academic Achievement Scholarship. The Academic Achievement Scholarships will be available to eligible students for four (4) consecutive semesters, provided each awardee maintains a 2.5 G.P.A. for the first semester and a cumulative 3.0 G.P.A. for the second and third semesters at ECCC. A scholarship in the amount of $100 will be awarded each semester to each eligible student.

ACT Scholarships:

ACT Composite (20-23) — A scholarship in the amount of $100 will be awarded each semester to the eligible student.
ACT Composite (24-26) — A scholarship in the amount of $300 will be awarded each semester the eligible student.
ACT Composite (27-30) — A scholarship in the amount of tuition will be awarded each semester to the eligible student.
ACT Composite (31-36) — A full scholarship (Matriculation fee, room and board) will be awarded each semester to the eligible student.
