Elk Education Trunk Application
As part of our Hunting Heritage Program, RMEF distributes elk education trunks — tool kits containing an elk hide, antler, skull, lesson plans, activities, books, DVDs, and more — to conservation educators such as teachers to provide hands-on educational experiences about elk, other wildlife, habitat conservation, and hunting. Thanks to the Torstenson Family Endowment, each year we are now able to award a number of trunks at no cost to educators. As part of our annual reporting for the Torstenson Family Endowment, toward year-end we will make a request for photos, student thank you notes, etc., so that the Torstenson Family can see firsthand the impact they are having on youth (and adults) around the country.
