Program Period:
Effective January 1 – December 31
Reimbursement
· Reimbursement will be made by credit memo for the amount up to your current Coop balance.
· Do NOT deduct from payment of MBCI invoices prior to receiving co-op credits or submit debit memos.
Brand Eligibility:
Aristokraft, Decora´ Schrock, Diamond, Kemper,
Omega, Dynasty, HomeCrest and Kitchen Craft
Advertising:
(50% credit available from co-op)
· Print Media
· Broadcast Media
· Outdoor Advertising
· Web Sites – MBCI will allow up to $500 maximum use of co-op dollars to support a one-time development. Funds cannot be used to support the re-launch or maintenance of a web site.
· Local and Regional Trade Shows – The cost of floor space only.
· Direct Mail – The cost of printed material only.
· Yellow Pages
· Promotions – Promotions may qualify for Co-Op funding. Prior approval is required.
· Wearables – MBCI branded items
· MBCI Point of Sale (P.O.S) Items
· Color/Glass/Moulding Boxes – Individual replacement pieces are not authorized.
Claims:
Submitted within 45 day of invoicing but no later
than Feb 15 following year.

Advertising Guidelines
· Ads must include a product illustration with the most current brand logo.
· Cabinet products must be an element of the advertisement.
· MBCI will pay 50% of its pro-rated advertising space.
· Advertisements should not contain misleading claims or statements.
Required Documentation
Print Media – Copies of advertisements showing the date and name of publication, including a copy of all applicable invoices showing the net cost of all necessary expenses including cost per line, inch, or overall space.
Broadcast Media – An original copy of the station invoice including an affidavit showing the product advertised, local rates, date(s) of spots, number of spots and a script.
All Other Media – Complete documentation with invoices for materials and associated expenses being claimed.
Displays:
Showroom Displays:
· Showroom displays must be located in a public showroom and installed complete with countertops and accessories.
Model Homes:
· Model Home displays must be part of a new home construction development or in a designated design or selection center that serves a new home construction development. The model homes must be maintained as a model for a period of at least 12 months and installed complete with countertops and accessories.
Parade of Homes:
· Parade of Homes must be part of an official Parade of Homes event, installed complete with countertops and accessories and open for public tours for the length of the event.
MBCI Selection Centers and Merchandisers:
· Selection centers and merchandisers must be purchased from MBCI.
MBCI Sponsored Events:
· MBCI training programs and classes – MBCI program and product training at the wholesaler’s or dealer’s location, at MBCI, or in the field.
· Customer events – Open houses, design seminars, DIY seminars, golf outings, fishing tournaments, baseball games, etc.
Event Guidelines
· The event announcement must include reference to the MBCI wholesaler or dealer and the participating MBCI brand(s). Attach all expense details to the claim for approval.
Identity apparel and premiums - must include a description, a picture of the item, and an invoice showing net cost of all necessary expenses with the claim request.
Display Guidelines
· A minimum of six lineal feet per style is required to receive reimbursement. (Base lineal feet is defined as the total lineal wall footage covered by base cabinets.)
· All display orders must include a completed Brand Display Discount Application Form that has been signed and approved by your MBCI sales representative.
· All displays must be ordered by December 23 to qualify under current year program.
· Installation verification must be completed by your MBCI sales representative.
Additional Display Discounts from Co-op
· Showroom displays are eligible for an additional 50% display discount from co-op off the remaining invoice balance.

Required Documentation
· Event claims must include samples of the public announcement or invitation showing the date, time, and location of the event.
· Claims associated with MBCI training programs and classes must include invoices for materials and associated expenses being claimed. Claims for training classes must also include the date, location, name of instructor, and subject of the training.
· Training or customer events requesting over $3,000 in MBCI reimbursement must be pre-approved. Complete documentation with invoices for materials and associated expenses being claimed must be provided.
