2000 Makhzoumi Foundation Prize in Medicine (£20,000.00), awarded to only one person every year. This was in recognition of the work I have done in the field of arm Transplantation.
Awards and Honours / Learned Academies:
The Jean Morelle Lecture at the St Luc Brussels Catholic University 2009. Jean Morelle was the first surgeon in the world to perform organ procurement from a heart beating donor. This is a very prestigious invited lecture in the field of transplantation in Belgium.
