What is a Heritage Action Zone?

A Heritage Action Zone provides a range of Historic England resources and expertise to achieve sustainable economic growth in historic places. Each Heritage Action Zone will be tailored to local circumstances and will be delivered in partnership between the local authority, Historic England and other relevant organisations.
