PolyVision driver, how to open the package after download; Mac OS X.
SYMPTOMS: PVDriver not visible after download and unzipping of the package.
CAUSE: The Mac OS does not display external disks by default.
SOLUTION: To display external disks icons on the desktop, follow the steps below:
**notice that there are no Hard disks, External disks, iPods, CDs displaying on the desktop.
1. Launch Finder from the Dock
2. Using the Menu bar, click on Finder then click on Preferences...
3. Under the General tab, you can see that only Har disks, CDs, DVDs and iPods are selected by default.
4. To display the External disks icon on the desktop, select the checkbox beside External disks and Connected servers if needed.
5. Once selected, the changes are applied instantly and you can see now the External disks, in this example you will see the PolyVision icon displayed on the desktop.
