Dear Diary,
My best friend, Anna, is going to study in Australia this September. We have been friends since Primary 1. She was our monitor when I first knew her. Time flies! Now we are both graduates of our primary school.
Anna is a very cheerful girl. She is always the one who makes me happy when I am sad. She is the most supportive person I know. Whatever I do, she stands byme. Last month, when I had to have my tooth pulled out, she went to the dentist’s with me! I was no longer scared when she was with me.
I will miss her a lot. However, I wish her all the best in her further studies. I know she loves learning Englishvery much. I’m sure she can learn very quickly when she studies overseas. I will keep in touch with her by writing e-mails and letters. I hope our friendship can last forever!

Dear Diary,
Yesterday I attended the school’s farewell party for graduates with my mum and dad. I felt a little tired today. Grandma also wanted to come but she was sick. We asked her to stay at home and take more rest. We visited her after the party and we will be visiting her again later today.
The farewell party was great. We played some games and enjoyed lots of food together. Not many students from other primary levels came to the party. Those at the party were mainly Primary 6 students and their parents. The highlight of the party was the lucky draw. I did not win any prizes but Anna won the first prize. Wow!
