Bid Spec

1.0 Description

The digital recorder described shall be a Sanyo Model number DSR-M810P or equivalent. The recorder shall be an industrial grade digital security video recorder with 2 drive bays, each supportinga maximum of 1 TB hard disk drive.

2.0 Bid Specification

The digital recorder shall be a single channel hard disk digital recorder. The digital recorder shall have the capability to record 4 recording resolutions from 352x 576 (standard) to 720x576 (High/ Super/Super+), with digital duplex simultaneous recording and playback up to 25 frames per second. The digital recorder shall have the capability to record at 25 frames per second for up to840 hours with a 300GB hard drive in the Standard picture quality.

The digital recorder shall have 1 Video Input terminal (BNC x 1), 1 Video Output terminal (BNC x 1).

The digital recorder shall have a one-touch operation for Play, Stop, Record and Still. The digital recorder shall have high-speed digital fast-forward and review.

Audio recording capability shall be available as MPEG1 audio layer2. The recorder shall have 1 audio input, 1 audio output, and 1 microphone input (RCA x 1 in, RCA x 1out, 3.5mm mini jack x 1 in).

The digital recorder shall have a built-in USB terminal for firmware upgrades, and to upload/ download menu settings between units.

The digital recorder shall have a built-in LAN terminal (100Base-TX/ 10Base-T) for remote viewing and control from a PC running the VA-SW814 software (sold separately) on a specified network.

The digital recorder shall offer the following search modes:

1. Time / Date search
2. Alarm search

The digital recorder shall have RS-485 communication.

The digital recorder shall have a switching between PAL and NTSC video systems.

Remote viewing and control of up to 4000 recorders shall be possible using VA-SW814 software on a proprietary, specified network.

The digital recorder shall be no larger than 210 X 96 X 391.5 mm (WxHxD) and weigh approximately 3.6Kg.

The digital recorder shall be CE listed, ISO9001, and ISO14001 certified.
